Did your child start Suzuki Violin in school this year? Are you wanting them to keep up their skills during the summer? This group class will cover Suzuki Twinkle variations and early book 1 if time allows. We'll play games, learn different techniques, learn to play as a group, all while having fun fiddling with friends!
This class is ideal for 4-7 year olds and their parent or other practice partner, who are interested in beginning violin lessons and learning about the Suzuki Method. No experience necessary. A violin is required but not until week 3 (please communicate with me before buying your child an instrument). We will learn how to hold the violin and bow, beginner (“pre-twinkle”) songs, music & movement games, and learn all about the violin and how to care for it. It will be a fun musical time that will leave everyone humming the fun tunes!
Space is limited to 5 students and their practice partner, so sign up soon!
If you are interested in this class but these dates do not work for you, email Abby to get on a list for a possible second class.
Our annual Spring Recital will be on Sunday June 12 at 2:15 pm at Indian Creek Church of the Brethren, 821 Main St. Harleysville. We will be in the main sanctuary. Refreshments will be served following the music!
